  • (a) CPR/Passport Data: For legal compliance (e.g., visa processing).
  • (b) Transactional Data: Payment amounts, booking history.
  • (c) Device Information: IP address, browser type.

2. Legal Basis for Data Use 

2.1 We process your data to: 

  • (a) Fulfill contractual obligations (e.g., bookings).
  • (b) Comply with laws (e.g., anti-fraud, tax reporting).
  • (c) Prevent fraudulent transactions.

2.2Consent: 

  • CPR/passport data processing is mandatory and cannot be revoked for completed transactions.
  • Marketing consent can be withdrawn via app settings.

3. Data Retention 

3.1 CPR/Passport Data: Retained for 2 years post-transaction to comply with Bahraini anti-fraud laws (Law No.4/2001) and tax regulations. 

3.2 Anonymization: After 2 years, data is anonymized for analytics. 

4. Cross-Border Transfers 

4.1 Data may be transferred internationally without prior notice if required for service delivery (e.g., hotel bookings). Notifications are provided only if legally mandated. 

5. Your Rights 

5.1 You may: 

  • (a) Access, correct, or delete non-essential data.
  • (b) Request data portability.

5.2 Exceptions: Data essential for legal compliance (e.g., CPR) cannot be deleted before the retention period. 

6. Security & Breach Notification 

6.1 We implement industry-standard security measures. 

6.2 Breaches impacting CPR/passport data will be reported to Bahrain’s Data Protection Authority within 72 hours.

    1. Publish these Terms and Privacy Policy under “Terms & Privacy” in the website footer and app settings.
  4. Language Compliance:
    1. Maintain an Arabic version of this document, available upon request, as required by Bahraini law.
  5. Audit Mechanisms:
    1. Conduct periodic reviews of third-party agencies to ensure adherence to data protection and consumer laws.
